MoreMay Day is Lei Day in Hawaii, and each year our May Day program celebrates Hawaiian culture and tradition. The May Day program gives students the opportunity to learn and perform songs and dances that celebrate Hawaii. All students participate in this annual spring event. Our annual Art Show showcases student art work from throughout the school year. Each classroom is transformed into an art gallery and students, parents and friends are invited to come and see the creative efforts and developing artistic skills of our students.
CHECK IT OUTOur annual fall festival is an afternoon of food, music and games. It is a great time for families to spend time getting to know each other, for kids to have fun with their friends outside of the classroom and for everyone to enjoy delicious treats and fun activities. It also serves as a fundraiser for our PTO and our classrooms. It’s a fun way to support the school and spend time together as a school community.
CHECK IT OUTEach year our students put on a program to celebrate the Christmas season and the meaning behind it. This program gives students the opportunity to learn the value of rehearsal and practice as they build their skills and gain the confidence to perform in front of an audience. Families and friends are invited to attend the program where through music, song and drama our students share the Christmas story and the hope it offers the world today.
CHECK IT OUTOur open house evenings are a chance for families to come to our campus and learn about our instruction program, meet our faculty, see our classrooms and find out what it’s like to be part of our school community. We host both a fall and a spring open house each year.
CHECK IT OUTOur annual jog-a-thon provides students the opportunity to take an active part in the upkeep and improvement of the school by participating in our biggest fundraiser of the year. Additionally, students benefit from a day of physical activity as they challenge themselves to run and walk as far as they can in two hours. It’s a fun morning where our school community comes together to cheer on our students, run alongside them and celebrate their efforts, all while raising funds for the school.
